from 3434 reviewsA nice shopping place, easy to make purchases, nice collection, which should be further be enlarged, specially in the segment of Headphones & Amp/Dac.
Crisp and clear vocals with good instrument seperation in this price segment but took time while installing as there is no marking on earpiece.
When my custom made 16 core braided 4.4mm cable for Hifiman Sundara having some issues I have to send it for repair. The I found this cable in Audio Store. I bought it with some hesitation at first but when it arrived oh my God it's an absolute beauty. The cable is sturdy anough and sound quality is top knotch. I am using it with Fiio K7 along with a 2.5mm to 4.4mm adapter. Sound is super clean and open. The best thing is that the cable looks fantastic. You won't find anything like this within 3000 INR price range. Go ahead!!
I’ve been using these with my Sony WF-1000XM5. It has the perfect fit and noise isolation without hurting your ears (which was in the case of the original foam ones from Sony). Highly recommended!
Good Sound quality and value for money. I highly recommend these iems.
Will replace very expensive and established amplifier brands. I have used them as monoblocks with a tube preamp with my quadral m4 tower speakers and it's fabulous sound overall. Well done fosi
There were days when Audiophile's can only dream of getting their favourite iem's in a day or two from reliable and trustworthy sources. The Audio Store has made that dream a reality. Thank you TAS for your commitment and support to this hobby.
The chu 2 dsp out of the box is a bit lean and lacks a bit of bass... But once I changed the tuning through the moondrop link app.... I was really surprised since these are very capable but a bit on the dark side.... I simply set everything in the parametric eq as 0 which lends that I was listening to the analog acoustic tuning only... The bass is thumpy... Imaging and separation is good for the price... Lacks upper treble presence though which lends the overall sound profile towards dark.... But again for the price I can't complain more
Simply Perfect
I was worried my earphone buttons might not work, but to my surprise, it did. I also think data transfer works, not 100% sure tho.
Overall, it does way more than I expected and I'm super happy with the product. To me, the quality of the audio also seems extremely good, but I can't tell from an audiophile perspective.
With outstanding detail and wide spectrum or nodes it is very difficult to imagine how this tiny DAC could possibly be any better, considering it comes at a fraction of a cost of any apple product it is a True value for Money.
For an entry level USB C DAC this is the finest money could buy. I have used it with Apple Mac, Iphone 15 Pro Max and My iPad Pro. True clear sound when paired with a decent IEM this is music lovers dream come true to experience HI-RES audio.
FANTASTIC.
note - The DAC does not come in with a USC Cable and u will have to invest in a good quality Thunder bolt cable to get the best performance.
I was previously using a small & cheaper BT 2.1 channel power amp with the same Texas Instrument's TPA3255 chip. However, Fosi Audio BT30D Pro works much better than the previous one. The difference is obvious. The only part I can point out is that the mid-range is slightly weak. It's a really good class-D power amp for this price range.
I had owned both the HiFiMan Sundara and the Edition XS few years back - but as with all things audio - started to yearn for a different taste and so moved towards high impedance headphones and tube amplifiers - selling my HiFiMan headphones to buy new gears of interest :-) Recently felt the urge to get back into the planar sound. But didn't want to invest too much to start with - not being sure whether I'd find the experience as enjoyable as the first time. The 400SE fit the bill nicely and I'm glad to report that I've not regretted my decision one bit. Thanks TAS. Greatly enjoying the set. Pairing is critical though - started with the iFi Zen One Signature DAC + iFi Zen Can - but felt something was missing - switched to the Cayin RU6 and immediately got back the exquisite detail and imaging/instrument separation that planars are famous for.
The audio quality is very good. I hear it at neutral settings and use it more than 12 hours a day..It isn't tiring to the ear and sound awesome
For the money, this almost delivers similar to chopin at mid volume levels
