Experience clean sound that’s free of distortion with the HiFiMAN HE400se. This planar magnetic headphone uses high-end drivers for an impactful sound. Its low sensitivity, multiple connector options and lightweight build make it perfect for long listening sessions with just about any audio source device of your choice.
The Better Headphone
What makes the HiFiMAN HE400se better than regular headphones? It’s cutting-edge planar magnetic drivers! These drivers feature conductive layers that cover almost the entire diaphragm for much lower distortion when compared to dynamic driver headphones.
Advanced Magnets for Better Sound
Conventional drivers create sound waves that cause a lot of interference when these waves pass through the magnet. The HiFiMAN HE400se uses advanced Stealth Magnets to reduce this. It ensures acoustic transparency throughout the frequency range with extremely low wave diffraction turbulence and pure sonic output.
Lightweight, Adjustable & Comfy
Enjoy your music for long hours with the HiFiMAN HE400se. The lightweight adjustable headband and plush ear cushions ensure comfort and keep your ears cool during warm weather. A durable casing protects the drivers from external elements.
Compatible & Comfortable
The HiFiMAN HE400se’s high sensitivity makes it compatible with all kinds of low-voltage sources. This includes portable hi-res audio players as well as smartphones. A dual-sided high-performance cable with a durable 3.5mm termination and 6.35mm adapter makes it compatible with a wide range of audio devices.
Disclaimer - Coming from ATH-M40X & also I am no Audiophile.
These headphones have much better soundstage & I even heard instruments that I hadnt heard with my ATH cans, but these are harder to drive, even though I was able to get to comfortable volume using my old DAC (without amplifier) & Laptop & even my phone (needed 90-100% of volume), the Bass is lacking.
This is expected as these headphones require a lot of power to run & have a much more neutral to recessed Bass response tuning (harmann curves? - Youtube will help you figure this out)
I am in the process of buying a new Amp/Dac combo so this problem will be resolved, otherwise the sound quality is phenomenal.
Build quality is OK, feels sturdy, doesn't feel like made of cheap materials although there are some plastics used (on the circumfrence of the cans - otherwise a lot of metal parts also used).
The supplied wire seems better than the ones i saw on youtube so I dont think I will have to buy a new one for the time being
I have been using these headphones non stop for several hours & my ears dont feel tired or even sweaty. I had this problem with my ATH headphones even in winter.
The pads are huge & very comfortable.
Skull size is larger than average & I dont feel like these are clamped too hard for me.
Maybe smaller people will feel it to be a bit loose.
If you are short on budget (like me) then you cant go wrong with these headphones esp. when coming from closed back headphones like ATH-M40x , just be sure to pair it with a good amp/dac to get the most out of it, but even without those you will hear a lot of difference (in a good way).
Hope this was helpful i was quite anxious before i bought these cans but i am quite satisfied now.
I booked these today and got them today itself. Awesome delivery time.
Still burning them in, but the clarity of sound is breathtaking.
Very good headphones. A must buy. I would seriously recommend them to you guys.

The sound quality is so good
True tone and Beautiful piece! Sounds very good on stage.
It's an IEM like cable for full sized headphones which is extremely flexible and durable at the same time. A nice upgrade to those hard rubber cables or even a fabric cable. A must buy!!!
It works very well but noise is coming when connected to mobile anyway value for money
The greatest entry-level DAC for anyone looking to start their audio journey. The addition of a DAC to the earphones improves the sound quality.
Superb for music
This small device seriously improves the audio quality of your IEM. It gives boost to your IEM to run with its full potential..
I have paired this with my KZ ZSN Pro X nd Salnotes Zero nd there was a lot more improvement in the audio quality. The bass became tight, quality was improved everything sounded well. Before pairing they sounded different nd felt not upto the mark.
If you're on tight budget nd want to experience the audiophile journey then this is the best portable DAC you can start with. It costs less than 1.5K nd it performs way more than the price.
You won't be disappointed at all.
Extremely well made cable. Feels premium. Sound of the iem definitely got a boost
This is my first IEM, choosing BLON was not easy because there are so many options in that price sector. I was using SkullCandy Dime for music before this and HP gaming Earphone for my competitive gaming sessions. I wanted something that can fulfill my both needs so did some research and choose BLON. It's sound balanced, it's really good. I mostly listen to Jazz, Blues and Progressive Rocks in this days rarely some Pop and EDM's. Bass is there but not Heavy like BOAT's and not too low like Skull Candy. So in sound sector am happy.
Music is very clear. Great pair of drivers worth the price. First time iem buyers can surely go for it
I found this the be best entry level DAC.
Recommended for the beginner users.
The output is great and i have used with my IEMs. Sound output is nice ofcourse not as close to my LG v30 plus mobile.
If you have black/stealth styled IEMs like I do with the Truthear Hexas, and are seeking to use a balanced amplifier for them (I'm eq'ing them through the Qudelix 5K), the Tripowin Amber seem have the most congruent look for that setup. Matte black + copper looks quite suave in almost all settings.
Soundwise these cables do not diminish the original sound quality – they seem acoustically transparent. Could clearly hear the difference between my OG BTR5 balanced output and the Qudelix 5K's through this.
I prefer using my Sennheiser HD599 for long calls as they have a lighter clamp compared with my other headphones, but they do not come with a mic. This converter allowed me to get a Vmoda Boom Pro style cable and attach it to the HD599 for ultimate conference call bliss.
P.S. Works with my ATH M40x (and therefore the M50x too) as well! Might be an option for Sennheiser HD560S / HD400 Pro users as well since they use the same connector as the HD599
Delivers high quality music. Very convenient to use and carry
