Good iem for its asked price. Recommended in tight budget
The sound is really clear and the sub-bass is amazing. Although the delivery was super sloppy due to covid, it was worth the wait. The unboxing experience is amazing! the best product representation in the box and the accessories are of good quality too, with a nice hard pouch, 6 pairs of medical tips of grey and transparent colors.
Coming to the sound, the sound is incredible. the operation is amazing and each detail is clear. It might be a bit harsh in highs for some but has an amazing balance to the sound just like I want it to be. It's good for critical listening and some movies and pleasure listening too. the sound quality of the product is amazing definitely underrated for the price.
The design is amazing and feels like a premium product. The fit is perfect for me and the isolation is good, not perfect but for the price amazing!
Although I didn't found ear tips a problem for me but for some it is, though that's totally subjective.
overall under 3000- go for it if you want a balanced sound signature and a little bit of brightness is not a problem for you. The best sound signature and sound stage for the price and an amazing experience altogether.
I am not an analyst or enthusiast of high / professional grade musical equipments, but I do listen to some of the low priced stuff that are slightly or mostly off from the usual market meta items.
This one I bought based off the recommendation from my friend Chayan (who is yet to give me a bad advice in buying such stuffs). Previously I was using TinFi T2 , paired with my Shanling UP 4 - it used to give me quite a bit of flat soundstage, that I am very fond of. Back in the days, I used to like those bass heavy sony IEMs (XB series) but somewhere down the years, I became more and more passionate about flat or "slightly" inverted "V" soundstage.
Anyway, I was kind of holding to the idea that anything that produces a decent amount of bass, is probably not my cup of tea, until, I heard these little ones. By God, very very tight , punchy base that DOES NOT overwhelm the milder middle notes(the vocals). There is a good deal of warmth in the music but, unless you are an audio professional, you would love it(I hope). And the fit inside the ear was mind blowing - coming from T2, this was a big boon for me. I could put it in my ears for hours and would not even feel it's there. The build quality is pretty strong, but do not play with it, too hard.
Just a few observations -
1. The "HIGH"s are quite high, at least it is for my taste, but you can probably correct that with EQ.
2. I bought a pair of SpinFit CP100 along with this IEM , but when I tried them on, the sound was not very natural for my taste, it was as if being forced flattened by the CP100s, which I did not like, at all. So I switched back the default ear tips that the IEM came with , so far so good.
3. This pair definitely needs a decent amplification to sound well. I use the High gain" mode in my UP4, which it must be kept to make them sound the way they are meant to. If you have an AMP/DAC of yourself that supports changes in gain modes, you can try and see the difference all by yourself.
All things considered, I think this is a great pair of IEMs that this price category has to offer and should be picked up if you like slightly boosted bass and warmth in the music.
