Powerful Punchy Sound
The KZ DQ6 uses a new array type acoustic structure for extended frequency response and wide soundstage. It houses one large 10mm dual-magnetic driver along with two 6mm single magnetic drivers. A physical frequency division technology and electronic crossover allow for clear vocals, crisp instrumentals and a detailed audio experience.
Looks as Good as it Sounds
The KZ team believes in perfection. That's why each element of the DQ6 is engineered by world-class engineers. The zinc alloy faceplate comes in two stunning finishes. The logo is elegantly carved on the shell.
Durable and Comfortable
The KZ DQ6 is ergonomically designed for incredible comfort and superior noise isolation. This IEM comes with water flexible silicone ear tips that fit perfectly. The recessed 0.75mm 2 pins on the cable are stable and don't break easily. The detachable nature of the cable makes it perfect for upgrades.
It's your typical KZ tuned earphone: extended bass and treble, that "fun" V shaped tuning which is fine since it's not made for critical listening anyways. My biggest gripe is that there is this fin shaped ear thing in the inner ear part of the IEM's which may or may not fit everyone. The first couple of days this caused me a lot of trouble as it was hurting my ear really bad but I got used to it. Over all this is a good IEM but if it does not fit you then there might be some discomfort with extended listening periods. I would also recommend getting some aftermarket ear-tips as the ones provided are very thin and can be hit or miss on the fit.
These are very nice earphones, experienced se buzzing sound on bass tho these are very capable of keeping the bass sound tight and good. Lows are great. Now the buzzing has gone too, overall nice pair.
I currently have a Superlux HD 681 EVO, as well as a Tin HiFi T2, which should tell you that I like flattish, neutral phones. But this was a pleasant surprise, as it is a lot of fun to listen to, with a nice, fun bass without compromising on the clarity and sound quality in the mids and the highs (except for this one peak where it kinda hurts your ears, especially for example if someone hits a spoon on a plate on the other side of the call) and also being very easy to drive: As a reference my T2s need to be at 80% volume whereas these give the same sound at 60% volume. So all in all a great pair, and currently my daily!
Regarding The Audio Store's service, it was exemplary, very happy with the pricing as well as the delivery time, will surely shop again!
A little bit heavy but at this price range quality is superb.
