Out of the box, the default tuning is neutral, which suits most enthusiasts who prefer a balanced sound signature. The bass is clean, with a slightly punchy sub-bass response. You can further customize it using EQ to match your personal preferences.

The mids and highs are definitely chef's kiss. Instrument separation is excellent, and both male and female vocals sound crystal clear. The soundstage is good, providing an enjoyable listening experience.

Another major advantage is the support provided through the Tanchjim app, which allows you to fine-tune the EQ and tailor the IEMs to your taste

Good One. But it doesn't have app support as this is the old model. it doesn't have audiocular app support. it is same as 699 rs DAC. Not have any huge difference,

The CCA Phoenix impressed me with its lively and engaging sound. Vocals sound natural, bass has good punch, and the overall tuning makes music enjoyable across different genres. The shells feel durable and well-made, offering both comfort and a premium look. I also appreciate that the Type-C version comes with an in-built DAC chip, offering better audio quality and convenience similar to using a dedicated DAC such as the Audicular Spark. For its price, the CCA Phoenix delivers excellent performance and value.

Just received my Tanchjim Bunny and I’m very impressed. The sound is clear, crisp, and detailed. Vocals sound natural, instruments are well separated, and the overall listening experience is excellent. The build quality is also good and comfortable for long sessions. Definitely a great purchase and highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality budget IEM.

Great great DAC for majority of the audience. Does a great job in audio quality plus if you use a dedicated app that directly interacts with DAC that is just incredible!!

I picked up the DSP Type-C version of the Tanchjim Bunny, and out of the box, it is an absolute steal for the price. The stock tuning is incredibly balanced, crisp, and clean. However, the real magic happened when I swapped out the stock cable for a separate 8-core IEM cable with a 3.5mm jack. Switching to the 3.5mm analog connection completely shifted the sound signature in the best way possible.With the 8-core cable, the overall sound becomes noticeably warmer and more organic. The lower-mids fill out beautifully, giving the music a richer, more musical low-end response. More importantly, the vocals become much more forward and intimate. It brings singers right to the front of the stage, making acoustic tracks and vocal-heavy genres sound incredibly lush and engaging.
It is an amazing budget IEM that scales beautifully with upgraded gear. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased the CCA Phoenix 3.5mm Black IEM along with the Audiocular Spark Black DAC from Audio Store, and my experience has been excellent.
The CCA Phoenix offers a detailed and energetic sound signature with clear vocals, crisp treble, and impactful bass. It brings out fine details in music while keeping the listening experience enjoyable. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the design looks stylish and comfortable for long listening sessions.
Paired with the Audiocular Spark Black DAC, the sound becomes even cleaner and more powerful. The DAC improves clarity, separation, and overall audio quality, making the listening experience more immersive.
I would also like to appreciate the Audio Store team for their friendly service and product guidance. The physical store has a welcoming, and professional environment where customers can comfortably explore and audition audio gear before purchasing.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the CCA Phoenix, Audiocular Spark DAC, and the excellent service provided by Audio Store.

Good for:
>Vocal dominated tracks (general bollywood songs)
>Indian classical in vocal. string and wind instruments, acoustic guitars.
> Western classical focused on Piano, violin and cellos (e.g. Ludovico Einaudi, Lang Lang)

Need a little twigs in eq:
> Female vocal may need 2-3 db boost in at around 2k region.
> Old tracks designed for tapes and cassettes generally has treble boosted in default. Hence a 1-2 db pull down in 8k &16k band makes it more enjoyable (e.g track - Nahi samne from movie Taal)

Not good for:
> Heavy rock and metals that demands more throbbing base.
> Heavy electric guitars mainly power chords & overdrive base guitars sounds muddy.
> Lacks wide sound stage required for large and dynamic orchestral pieces. Like cornfield chase by Hans zimmer, Nostalgia by Yanni
> Hip-hop and Electronic tracks lacks the attacks and punchiness

VERDICT:
> Deep and tight base, buttery soft mids and well defined and perfectly rolled out treble that doesn't heart your ears after a while.
>Go for it if you are a bollywood song lover. You can't get anything better, at least at this price brakets.
> Shines well with Sigma-delta dacs but feels bit too warm for r2r Dacs. Although some people can prefer that. But do not use it with a very powerful amp. Personally I felt opamp like MAX97220 is more than enough.
> Base is deep and tight. So do not buy this if you want thumpy base.
> Not a flat responding iem. So do not consider it if you want an analytical piece. > Choose it if you are looking for long listening sessions with deep imotional attachment rather than analytical detailing.

This pair is one of the most musical and cohesive IEMs I’ve heard in its price range. Its warm-neutral tuning delivers rich note weight, natural timbre, and excellent tonal balance without sacrificing detail. The bass is textured and controlled, the mids are lush and engaging, and the treble is smooth yet sufficiently extended to convey air and ambience.

Its tuning sits somewhere between a U-shaped and V-shaped signature, making it a rather safe choice overall, in my opinion.

Female vocals - 9.5/10 (buttery smooth)

What stands out most is its ability to present orchestral music with realism and emotional impact rather than analytical dissection. Strings sound organic, brass carries authority, and large symphonic works feel immersive and grand.
Technical performance is strong, though the focus remains on musicality and coherence rather than sheer resolution.

Paired with the Mojo 2, the synergy is exceptional. If your priority is experiencing the music rather than analysing it, the Tea Pro SE is a standout performer.

If you also own a Moondrop Variations like I do, you’ll immediately notice that the Tea Pro SE offers a fuller, more natural presentation, with richer timbre, greater note weight, and a deeper, more holographic soundstage that makes the music feel remarkably immersive.
It also sounds better than XENNS Mangird Top Pro, yes!

Comfort - Hours can pass without the urge to take a break, without any fatigue.

I've been using this IEM for a couple of days now, and compared to the Moondrop CHU II, the treble feels noticeably improved.
