When you need Pro-level audio, look no further than the ultimate flagship - the HiBy R6 Pro II. Equipped with the AKM’s flagship DACs, this digital audio player is geared to deliver a spectacular performance. Add to that its seamless usability and gorgeous looks, and it’s a must-have in any audiophile’s collection.
The Ultimate Flagship
Experience your favourite audio tracks, now even better with the HiBy R6 Pro II. It is equipped with AKM’s new flagship DAC duo, AK4191EQ and dual AK4499EX. In the current output mode, it even offers separate digital conversion and analogue rendering.
Architecture That Builds Better Conversions
The All-In Audio Architecture of the AK4499EX DACs features 8 output rails, each with its own I/V conversion to fully release its potential. The dual DACs are each set to dual mono output, and all rails of both DACs contribute fully to both balanced and single-ended outputs. These enhancements, along with ultra-hard output stage circuit design, deliver sound quality that is worthy of a flagship.
Let Your Music Come Alive
Enjoy the exceptional audio performance with extremely low distortion and colouration, allowing for accurate note resolution and full dynamics. From resonating piano notes to crisp and clear violin tones, every detail of the music is captured with incredible clarity. The R6 Pro II's precise sound reproduction allows the listener to hear even the slightest nuances of the music. It's like experiencing the audio performance live in the very same space.
Every Femtosecond Counts
The HiBy R6 Pro II is equipped with NDK femtosecond precision crystal oscillators, featuring 45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz frequencies. These oscillators provide ultra-low phase noise and jitter, ensuring that digital signals are converted into precise analogue details. Even in highly dynamic and busy musical passages, you can hear the clarity and three-dimensionality of every note.
Loud and Clear
The R6 Pro II has a dual-independent amplification circuit design with switchable Class A/AB amplification modes. Class A is driven by 2 OPA1652 and 8 NXP bipolar transistors for zero crossover distortion, fast transient response and more power to handle full-sized headphones. Class AB mode offers longer play time, emits lesser heat and is suitable for most IEMs.
Feel the Power
The HiBy R6 Pro II has a 4-section independent power supply design created by an experienced engineer with over 30 years of power supply circuit design experience. The power supplies for digital, decoding, preamp and output stages are made independently using high flux, fully shielded inductors with ultra-low internal resistance. This design ensures that the audio player receives pure, uninterrupted power without interference.
Power-up Your Performance
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC features a flagship-class 11nm lithography process that yields higher computational and graphics abilities. Combined with HiBy's extensive software and hardware integration experience, it delivers fluidity and responsiveness for music apps and beyond.
The Best Your Music Can Get
Experience the highest quality audio possible with DSD1024 - the format that encodes audio signals at a many-fold higher bitrate than CD quality. PCM1536kHz / 32bit formats offer industry-leading, high-resolution audio with faithful capture of sound in all dimensions, resulting in a more realistic and natural listening experience.
The HiBy R6 Pro II supports 16x MQA file unfold, providing master-tape quality audio reconstitution for a richer, more realistic audio experience. MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology captures and reproduces the original studio master sound in a small streamable and downloadable file.
Feels Like a Phone, Sounds Like a Player
The HiByOS enhances the audio experience with features such as fine volume control, removal of unwanted sound effects, and systemwide bit-perfect audio even for third-party apps. These features, along with other audio-related system optimisations, set it apart from regular Android 12 devices. Additionally, its user interface is comparable to mainstream smartphones for smooth multi-tasking due to kernel optimisations.
Control it Anytime, Anywhere
HiByCast is a revolutionary feature that allows users to remotely control their HiBy DAP from any smartphone or tablet. With systemwide support, it enables control of all device functionalities, including third-party app opening and browsing.
Connects Wired & Wirelessly
The HiBy R6 Pro II also functions as a USB DAC for use as a computer external sound card or digital amplifier for smartphones. With two-way Bluetooth capabilities, it can be used as a Bluetooth receiver for wired headphones. It is Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified.
Looks as Good as it Sounds
The R6 Pro II features a visually stunning backplate design with bold asymmetrical lines resembling waves crashing against a golden shore under a starry carbon sky. The chassis features grip-friendly slanted surfaces defined by two split curves. The large 5.9" hi-res display boasts Corning Gorilla glass, 2160x1080 resolution and oleophobic coating.
The HiBy R6 Pro II is an absolute triumph in terms of build and sound quality, but it wins at the cost of battery life (5.5-7.5 hours). If you're able to accommodate this design choice, I believe you'd be hard-pressed to find a better DAP for under $1000.
The R6 Pro II is built like a tank and looks stunning in purple. Album artwork pops on the crisp 2K display, and I've yet to encounter bugs with the rock-solid implementation of Android 12. Although it runs warm during operation (especially Class A mode), it's not been an issue thus far.
The AKM chipset offers musicality against a pitch-black background without compromising on neutrality. Its MSEB feature provides ample customization options and enables listeners to tweak the sound as per their preferences. The soundstage width is already excellent, and I hope the depth improves after burn-in to lend more of a holographic experience.
Thanks for the review! I'm glad you like it!

The sound quality is so good
True tone and Beautiful piece! Sounds very good on stage.
It's an IEM like cable for full sized headphones which is extremely flexible and durable at the same time. A nice upgrade to those hard rubber cables or even a fabric cable. A must buy!!!
It works very well but noise is coming when connected to mobile anyway value for money
The greatest entry-level DAC for anyone looking to start their audio journey. The addition of a DAC to the earphones improves the sound quality.
Superb for music
This small device seriously improves the audio quality of your IEM. It gives boost to your IEM to run with its full potential..
I have paired this with my KZ ZSN Pro X nd Salnotes Zero nd there was a lot more improvement in the audio quality. The bass became tight, quality was improved everything sounded well. Before pairing they sounded different nd felt not upto the mark.
If you're on tight budget nd want to experience the audiophile journey then this is the best portable DAC you can start with. It costs less than 1.5K nd it performs way more than the price.
You won't be disappointed at all.
Extremely well made cable. Feels premium. Sound of the iem definitely got a boost
This is my first IEM, choosing BLON was not easy because there are so many options in that price sector. I was using SkullCandy Dime for music before this and HP gaming Earphone for my competitive gaming sessions. I wanted something that can fulfill my both needs so did some research and choose BLON. It's sound balanced, it's really good. I mostly listen to Jazz, Blues and Progressive Rocks in this days rarely some Pop and EDM's. Bass is there but not Heavy like BOAT's and not too low like Skull Candy. So in sound sector am happy.
Music is very clear. Great pair of drivers worth the price. First time iem buyers can surely go for it
I found this the be best entry level DAC.
Recommended for the beginner users.
The output is great and i have used with my IEMs. Sound output is nice ofcourse not as close to my LG v30 plus mobile.
If you have black/stealth styled IEMs like I do with the Truthear Hexas, and are seeking to use a balanced amplifier for them (I'm eq'ing them through the Qudelix 5K), the Tripowin Amber seem have the most congruent look for that setup. Matte black + copper looks quite suave in almost all settings.
Soundwise these cables do not diminish the original sound quality – they seem acoustically transparent. Could clearly hear the difference between my OG BTR5 balanced output and the Qudelix 5K's through this.
I prefer using my Sennheiser HD599 for long calls as they have a lighter clamp compared with my other headphones, but they do not come with a mic. This converter allowed me to get a Vmoda Boom Pro style cable and attach it to the HD599 for ultimate conference call bliss.
P.S. Works with my ATH M40x (and therefore the M50x too) as well! Might be an option for Sennheiser HD560S / HD400 Pro users as well since they use the same connector as the HD599
Delivers high quality music. Very convenient to use and carry
