The MOONDROP Golden Ages 2 pays tribute to classic reel-to-reel gear while delivering one of the most advanced true wireless audio experiences available today. With a patented planar magnetic driver, powerful custom SOC, high-resolution codec support, and deep DSP customisation, these ANC earbuds are built for audiophiles who expect more from their TWS than just convenience. Winner of the 2025 New York Product Design Award (Silver), they blend style, performance, and innovation in a pocket-friendly form.
Planar Power, Pure Detail
At the core of the Golden Ages 2 is a 13mm double-suspension annular planar magnetic driver, supported by four high-flux N55 neodymium magnets. This ultra-efficient driver architecture delivers cleaner transients, wide dynamics, and exceptional clarity. Total Harmonic Distortion stays at ≤ 0.05%, ensuring a sound that stays accurate, punchy, and natural across all genres.
Efficient, Dynamic & Low-Distortion
The driver design offers 4× the efficiency of dynamic drivers and 10× the efficiency of conventional planar units, giving you fuller dynamics even at lower volumes. With reduced distortion and improved power handling, your music sounds effortlessly detailed and fatigue-free.
High-Resolution Streaming With LDAC & LHDC-V
Enjoy hi-fi wireless audio with support for:
LDAC (up to 24-bit/96kHz)
LHDC-V (up to 24-bit/192kHz)
LC3 LE Audio for low-latency and stability
No matter which device or platform you use, you get clean, stable, high-resolution playback designed for serious listening.
Comfortable & Effective ANC
Instead of conventional hybrid ANC that creates ear pressure, MOONDROP uses an advanced single feedforward ANC system, delivering a 30.49% improvement over the previous generation while reducing discomfort. With wind-resistant microphones and refined DSP, ambient noise fades away without the “plugged-ear” feeling.
55ms Low-Latency Game Mode
Activate Game Mode with four taps to drop latency to 55ms. Dialogue syncs instantly, effects land accurately, and responsiveness stays sharp—ideal for gaming, movies, and fast-paced content.
3D Spatial Audio With Multiple Modes
Choose between Static, Small Angle, and Omni-Directional spatial audio via the Moondrop app. Each mode reshapes the soundstage and binaural imaging for a more immersive listening experience tailored to games, movies, and music.
The Most Customisable TWS Tuning Platform
The updated Moondrop app gives you full DSP control—adjust filter type, gain, frequency, Q value, and even view reference frequency curves. You can also:
Share your EQs
Download community tunings
Assign custom touch controls
Switch ANC modes
This level of control is rare in TWS earbuds and perfect for enthusiasts.
AI-Powered Adaptive Tuning
Introducing AI Yuki Beta 0.1—an intelligent assistant that interprets your tuning and preference requests and adapts your earbuds over time. Your listening profile gradually becomes uniquely tailored to your taste.
Dual-Device Connectivity & Seamless Switching
Connect to two devices simultaneously and switch instantly between them. The app allows custom timeout controls, and the earbuds automatically re-establish both monaural and binaural connections without interruption.
Premium Retro Craftsmanship
The Golden Ages 2 comes with a distinctive retro-inspired charging case and a frosted suede protective cover, giving your earbuds a stylish vintage-meets-modern aesthetic.
Battery Life & Wireless Charging
Enjoy 7.5 hours of playtime per charge and 24 additional hours with the case. Wireless charging adds convenience, ensuring your earbuds are always ready to go.

to be concise this is probably the best iem under 35k,
Pros:
- Sub bass and mid bass clarity, quality and volume is amongst the best, this is not a basshead iem but will definitely please a basshead.
- Mids are not recessed and are as accurate as they can be, however are not vocal forward per se but are slightly elevated compared to "v" shape iems, giving this iem a mild "W" shape signature.
-treble is good but for me was very much dependent on the tips I used, when using with sancai wide bores trebles were nice and clear, bright, might be too energetic for some, however with regular tips was perfectly tame and not sibilant to a point of discomfort and had decent air.
So use wide bores if you want to open up the iems, get a little better imaging and seperation but might make the highs a little too energetic, and with regular tips you get more boomy bass but might lose a little of the stage width but is better for treble sensitive folks.
Cons
Condensation issue might be there on rainy days, the wing style fit may not work for all, the iems are medium size and can fit many ear sizes especially with smaller tips but if you don't do well with wings or have atypical ears it may not be for you.
is reminiscent of new meta style tuning, so if you have iems with similar tuning this may be redundant.
Overall:
9/10 literally doesn't get much better than this whether you're putting in 5k more of 1 lakh more, this is the point of diminishing returns, atleast in my opinion, and from this price point on its mostly accesories or timings which actually make a difference.
fit and comfort was amazing for me, i have normal ears, with smaller canals, fits very well for me with small tips, but might have a few pressure spots depending on the ear.
build quality is very good with a nice metal shell.
The cable is very good and premium, accessories are good, and has a premium feel and looks beautiful with good presentation, over-all worth for the money, atleast for me lol.
however you may want to wait for more reviews on the hype 4 mark 2 and the new tea pro SE, and if you're a basshead the martillo is going to be potential endgame.

Does the job
Okay, let's talk about this transparent protective case. If you own the MOONDROP ST2s, this case isn't an option, it's a must-buy. Why? Because the original charging case is lidless and instantly attracts dust and scratches!
Fit and Feel
The fit here is fantastic. It slides on perfectly—it's a snug fit with absolutely no loose gaps, which is exactly what you want. Even though it's super affordable, it feels like genuinely good quality in your hand.
Protection and Design
This protective case does its job perfectly: it seals up the whole unit, protecting the original case from dust and scratches. The magnetic lid on this new case works really well, too. You can shake it all you want, and it won't pop open, which is great insurance against the buds falling out of the original lidless design.
I love the look. The transparent design is super cool because it lets the charging case shine through and reflect its original form, all without adding any noticeable bulk.
Just a Quick Heads-Up
It's important to note that the protective case doesn't block the charging port. This means if you travel a lot, you'll still need to keep an eye on that port and clean it regularly to prevent dust buildup.
Final Verdict
My advice is simple: you need this case. Go buy it! Otherwise, you'll constantly be putting the ST2s in a separate IEM box just to protect them. Honestly, doing both—using the protective case and the IEM box—is the best bet for extra protection, which is what I'm doing now.

A Truly New Wireless Experience
Okay, seriously, these little earbuds absolutely blew my mind.
The whole vibe, right from the moment I cracked open the box, felt super new and cool. Like, this isn't that same boring, generic crap you always get. The charging case? Totally unique! It looks awesome, but heads up: I can already tell it's gonna be a dust magnet. To keep mine fresh, I slapped a protective case on it immediately and keep the whole setup in a tiny IEM box for peace of mind. Just a pro-tip! Other than that, the actual earbuds fit like they were custom-made for my ears.
But the sound, man? That’s the whole reason to buy these. It’s just miles better than any regular Bluetooth headphone I’ve used. Everything is so dang clear! You can hear all the different instruments perfectly, like they’re standing in separate spots instead of being a messy blob. Oh, and download the app! You can tweak the settings to make them sound exactly how you like.
There are definitely other options out there in this price bracket, but these guys win, hands down.
That separation in the music? I felt it for the first time ever, and it made all my old playlists sound brand new. If you want that super crisp, detailed audio without emptying your wallet, you HAVE to try them. Huge step up! The volume is a little low, but honestly, the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) covers that right up.
The Technical Bits
The controls are quick and easy to use, but they're super sensitive, so you might accidentally pause your music a couple of times while adjusting them. You'll get the hang of it, though.
For calls, they're fine in a quiet room, but you gotta speak up. If you're out near traffic, the person on the other end is definitely going to hear the cars more than you.
Watching videos? Zero lag. The low latency mode works perfectly for YouTube and Netflix sync. Sorry, I don't really game, so I can't tell you how they handle laggy mobile FPS games.
Battery life is decent—I got about five hours with the ANC constantly running.
Just a heads-up: If you already own a wired IEM, don't bother with these. Wired is just way better. I'm only just starting my journey into audiophile stuff, and I can already tell you: wired beats wireless every time.
P.S. Huge shoutout to The Audio Store for the crazy fast shipping and good packaging! Definitely buying from them again soon.

Best beginner IEM under 2000 INR
Absolutely bang for the buck. Best beginner IEM under 2000 Rs and I am not even kidding or exaggerating.
This is my second KZ EDC pro set actually. I ordered it for my brother because I like it a lot. If you want for gaming or on limited budget, definitely buy it. It can be driven buy any normal 3.5mm device, but buy a dongle DAC if you can it will enhance your experience with cleaner sound.
Read the detailed review below.
The tuning is lot balanced with slight V shape is how everyone describes it. So far from friends, I got to try Moondrop chu II, Tangzu Wan'er SG 2, Blon bl03 I, KZ ZSN pro X and KZ EDC pro(my own) all with DAC (for first three it was with Audiocular spark). I will say I prefer EDC pro over all of these. Might sound like a madlad here preferring a 700rs IEM over ~2000 rs IEM but it's just that good.
Tuning: It comes to preference, but what's good is it is not the usual KZ like tuning, and it's V shape enough to enjoy but not too much to crush all details. It's tuning is close to moondrop chu II I would say, and Blon bl03 if you reduce sharpness of the treble. Or other way to describe would be little more bass than Tangzu Wan'er SG 2. But it does feel little sharp sometimes on highest volumes with something like trumpets playing.
Technicalities: I am a noob, yes. But from my understanding, it's very head to head with tangzu wan'er SG 2 and blon bl03 in terms of soundstage. Well, in busy tracks seperation (I listen to J-pop a lot), all of the IEMs I tested so far have failed (the best set I could experience was Fiio ft1 pro open back, so my judgement of seperation and soundstage comes according to that). And a heads up, its sensitivity is high, so it will produce hissing noise with DACs that have Amp chip with higher noise flour than it's sensitivity.
Cons:
1. It starts to struggle at higher volumes, becomes little sharp (ear piercing treble) with things like trumpet, but again you will never require higher than 60-70% in quite listening.
2. Other IEMs in under 2k range have smaller sizes, this one is just way bigger in the ears, but due to that it's a snug fit. People with smaller ears will find it way bigger.
Thanks for reading!
Also thanks for the audio store team for cooperating about the Spark DAC hissing issue even when it was clearly my mistake. It seems it's not publicly known that IEM sensitivity should be checked before buying a dongle DAC+Amp.

Great headset for comfort and neutral sound with a hint of sharpness
Great headset for comfort and neutral sound. The headband is excellent and fits my large head with no issues and the pads are isolating and comfortable too. The sound is basically neutral, the bass is present and textured but not boosted by much. Mids are spectacular and tame but not recessed at all. The treble brings the mids out even more without harshness and is pretty well extended at least to the uppertreble. Air frequencies are somewhat subdued but still not a problem for the sound. The treble is just a bit emphasized as it's oriented for mixing, so for casual listening it's a little sharp but it's my preference that way. If you're okay with a set that brings out details through Treble you'll like this.

Audiophile sound, with no wire attached
Honestly I was never a fan of Senheiser earphones/ headphones with their base heavy sounds. I have a focal bathes and bw p7s2 . I had no requirements for a wireless headphone. My guide Mr Pritam asked me to go for hdb 630, blindly. So happy for the decision. This one from Senheiser house is unique. Closed back yet big sound stage. Very balanced sound, true to every kind of music. Technically top notch. I love it. If someone is contemplating to buy a best sounding headphones under 50K, I can't think of anything. It's even way ahead of many Wired ones in that price range
