AUDIOCULAR AURA Pro Hi-Res Portable DAC & Amp
Upgrade your smartphone, tablet or computer with AUDIOCULAR AURA Pro, a compact Hi-Res USB Type-C DAC and headphone amplifier designed for IEMs and headphones. Powered by the CS43198 DAC and SGM8262 headphone amplifier, AURA Pro combines high-resolution audio decoding, powerful output and extensive sound customization in a portable design.
Whether you use sensitive IEMs, everyday earphones or more demanding headphones, AURA Pro is designed to give you greater control over your listening experience while supporting high-resolution PCM and DSD audio.

High-Performance CS43198 DAC for Detailed Hi-Fi Sound
At the heart of the AUDIOCULAR AURA Pro is the Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC, a high-performance digital-to-analog converter designed for high-resolution audio playback.
The DAC works with AURA Pro's USB audio and DSP architecture to convert digital audio into an analog signal with high resolution and low distortion. This makes AURA Pro a versatile choice for listeners who want to get more from lossless and Hi-Res music on their phone, tablet or computer.
With support for PCM audio up to 384kHz/32-bit, AURA Pro can handle high-resolution music files while maintaining the detail and dynamics of compatible recordings.
Powerful SGM8262 Amplifier with Up to 235mW Output
A good DAC needs an amplifier capable of driving your headphones properly. AURA Pro pairs the CS43198 DAC with a dedicated SGM8262 headphone amplifier for powerful and controlled output.
Under the specified 32Ω test condition, AURA Pro provides a typical output of 210mW and can reach up to 235mW.
It supports headphones and earphones across a wide 16Ω–600Ω impedance range, making it suitable for everything from sensitive IEMs to headphones that require more amplification.
What does this mean for you?
You get a compact DAC amp that can provide substantially more driving capability than many standard smartphone or computer headphone outputs, while giving you the flexibility to use different types of IEMs and headphones.
Note: Actual volume and performance will vary depending on headphone sensitivity, impedance, source device and listening conditions.
384kHz/32-bit PCM & DSD256 Hi-Res Audio Support
AURA Pro is built for listeners who use high-resolution and lossless music.
It supports:
- PCM up to 384kHz / 32-bit
- DSD64
- DSD128
- DSD256
This broad format support lets you enjoy compatible high-resolution recordings without being limited to standard-resolution audio.
Whether you're listening to FLAC, other lossless PCM formats or compatible DSD files, AURA Pro is designed to preserve the detail and dynamics contained in the original digital recording.
Personalize Your Sound with My Audiocular
One of the biggest advantages of AURA Pro is that you're not locked into a single sound profile.
With My Audiocular, you can fine-tune the listening experience to suit your IEMs, headphones and personal preferences.
Supported features include:
- 10-band EQ
- Multi-band PEQ Editor
- Auto PEQ
- Adaptive Sound Test
- AI-powered sound recommendations
- Device Dashboard
- Custom presets
This makes AURA Pro particularly useful if you own multiple IEMs or headphones and prefer different sound signatures for different genres or listening sessions.
My Audiocular features are available through the supported Android app or web app on Windows and macOS. Available functions and interface options may vary depending on firmware, operating system and My Audiocular updates.
Built-In DSP & Selectable DAC Filters
AURA Pro includes a built-in DSP that enables additional sound customization and processing.
You can also select from supported DAC digital filters to adjust the way compatible digital audio is processed.
These options give more experienced audiophiles additional control over their playback chain, while beginners can simply use the default settings and start listening.
RGB Playback Status Indicator
AURA Pro makes it easy to see what's happening during playback with its integrated RGB playback status indicator.
The indicator provides visual feedback based on the active playback format, including different PCM sample-rate ranges and DSD formats.
This gives you a quick way to check your current playback status without opening an app or checking your source device.
3.5mm Headphone Output with Microphone & Call Support
AURA Pro isn't limited to music playback.
Its 3.5mm single-ended headphone output supports compatible:
- IEMs and headphones
- Microphone input
- Voice recording
- Phone calls
- Inline headset controls
The device can automatically recognize compatible 3-pole and 4-pole plugs, making it more convenient for everyday listening and communication.
So whether you're listening to music, taking a call or using a headset with a microphone, AURA Pro can serve as a versatile portable audio interface.
4-Core Silver-Plated Cable
AURA Pro features an integrated 4-core silver-plated cable designed for stable and efficient signal transmission.
The integrated construction keeps the DAC amp compact and portable while providing a durable connection between your USB Type-C source device and 3.5mm headphones or IEMs.
Compatible with Phones, Tablets & Computers
AURA Pro uses a USB Type-C input and supports a wide range of operating systems, making it suitable for use across multiple devices.
Compatible platforms include:
- Android
- HarmonyOS
- Windows
- iOS
- macOS
This makes AURA Pro a flexible option if you listen across your smartphone, tablet and computer rather than using a DAC exclusively with one device.
Is AUDIOCULAR AURA Pro Good for IEMs?
Yes. AURA Pro is designed to work with a wide range of IEMs and headphones, supporting loads from 16Ω to 600Ω.
For sensitive IEMs, the combination of the CS43198 DAC, dedicated SGM8262 amplifier and customizable DSP gives you a capable portable source with plenty of tuning flexibility.
However, the best pairing depends on the sensitivity and impedance of your specific IEM or headphone. Output power alone doesn't determine compatibility or sound quality.
Is AUDIOCULAR AURA Pro Good for Hi-Res Music?
Yes. AURA Pro supports PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD256, making it suitable for compatible Hi-Res and lossless music libraries.
If you use high-resolution FLAC, PCM or DSD recordings, AURA Pro provides the decoding capability required to play these formats.
Can I Customize the Sound?
Yes. My Audiocular gives you extensive sound customization options, including 10-band EQ, PEQ, Auto PEQ, Adaptive Sound Test, AI-powered sound recommendations and custom presets.
This is especially useful if you like experimenting with different sound signatures or want to optimize your setup for a particular pair of IEMs or headphones.
Does AURA Pro Support Microphones and Calls?
Yes. The 3.5mm interface supports compatible microphone input, voice recording and calls, along with supported inline headset controls.
Compatibility depends on the connected headset and device.
