AUDIOCULAR Note Plus KT0231H USB-C DAC & PD Charging Adapter
The AUDIOCULAR Note Plus KT0231H is a compact USB-C DAC and charging adapter designed for anyone who wants to use wired earphones or headphones while keeping their USB-C device charged.
Powered by the KTMicro KT0231H audio chipset, Note Plus supports up to 32-bit/384kHz high-resolution audio, while its separate USB-C charging port supports PD3.0 fast charging up to 60W. This makes it particularly useful for smartphones, tablets and computers that rely on USB-C for both connectivity and charging.
Instead of choosing between wired audio and charging, the Note Plus lets you do both through one compact adapter.
What Is the AUDIOCULAR Note Plus?
The AUDIOCULAR Note Plus is a USB-C DAC with simultaneous charging support.
It converts digital audio from a compatible USB-C device into an analog signal that can be sent to your wired earphones or headphones through its 3.5mm TRRS output.
At the same time, you can connect a USB-C charger to the dedicated charging port and continue charging your device.
This makes the Note Plus a useful solution for modern smartphones, tablets and computers that don't have a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack.
Why use a USB-C DAC?
A USB-C DAC can provide a dedicated audio conversion stage instead of relying on the audio hardware inside your smartphone or computer. For wired IEM and headphone users, this can be a convenient way to add a 3.5mm headphone output to a USB-C device while also supporting features such as high-resolution audio, microphone input and EQ.
KT0231H Hi-Res USB Audio DAC
At the heart of the Note Plus is the KTMicro KT0231H digital audio chipset, designed to handle high-resolution USB audio conversion.
The DAC supports audio processing up to 32-bit/384kHz, making it suitable for high-resolution music playback when your source device, operating system, music application and audio files support the required resolution.
With UAC 2.0 USB audio support, the Note Plus is designed to work with compatible USB-C smartphones, tablets and computers.
Whether you're using IEMs, wired earphones or headphones, the Note Plus provides a compact way to add a dedicated wired audio output to your USB-C setup.
32-Bit/384kHz High-Resolution Audio
For listeners who want to get the most from their high-resolution music library, the Note Plus supports up to:
32-bit / 384kHz DAC decoding
This allows compatible source devices and music applications to send high-resolution digital audio to the DAC.
The Note Plus also incorporates a 16-bit/48kHz ADC, which handles supported microphone, recording and communication functions.
What does that mean for everyday use?
You can use the Note Plus not only for music playback but also with compatible wired headsets for voice calls, microphone input and inline controls.
Actual audio resolution depends on the source device, operating system, application, audio file and other software limitations.
Use Wired Earphones While Charging Your Device
One of the biggest advantages of the AUDIOCULAR Note Plus is its dual-port design.
The adapter features:
- 3.5mm TRRS audio output
- USB-C charging input
Connect your wired IEMs or headphones to the 3.5mm port and connect your USB-C charger to the charging port.
You can then listen to music while simultaneously charging your compatible USB-C device.
This is especially useful for smartphones without a 3.5mm headphone jack, particularly during long listening sessions, gaming, travel or when watching movies.
Up to 60W PD3.0 Fast Charging
The dedicated USB-C charging port supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 charging up to 60W, with support for up to 20V/3A under the specified conditions.
This means you don't have to sacrifice charging simply because you're using wired headphones.
However, the actual charging speed is determined by the complete charging setup, including:
- Your smartphone, tablet or computer
- USB-C charger
- USB-C cable
- Supported PD charging profiles
- Power requirements of the connected device
So while the Note Plus supports up to 60W PD3.0 input, your device may charge at a lower wattage.
118dB SNR & -85dB THD+N
The Note Plus is designed to provide a clean and controlled audio signal for portable listening.
It features a rated:
- 118dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR)
- -85dB THD+N at 1kHz
The high SNR helps keep background noise low, while the specified THD+N figure indicates low measured distortion under the stated test conditions.
The adapter is designed for compatible 16–32Ω earphones and headphones, making it particularly suitable for many portable IEMs and wired earphones.
6-Band EQ with My AUDIOCULAR App
Want to adjust the sound to match your favourite IEM?
The My AUDIOCULAR app provides a 6-band EQ for compatible devices, allowing you to adjust different frequency ranges and personalise your listening experience.
You can use the EQ to tailor your sound depending on:
- Your earphones or IEM
- Music genre
- Personal preference
- Desired bass, midrange or treble balance
The available features and controls may vary depending on the device, firmware, operating system and app version.
3.5mm TRRS with Microphone, Calls & Inline Controls
The Note Plus isn't limited to music playback.
Its 3.5mm TRRS female connector supports compatible wired headsets with:
- 🎙️ Microphone input
- 📞 Voice calls
- ⏯️ Inline controls
- 🎤 Voice recording
- 🎧 Stereo audio playback
This makes it suitable for users who still rely on traditional wired earphones with an integrated microphone and remote.
Compatibility can vary depending on the connected device and headset wiring standard, so individual microphone and button functions may differ between products.
Compact Aluminium-Alloy Design
The Note Plus is designed to stay small enough for everyday carry.
Its aluminum-alloy housing provides a durable metallic finish while keeping the adapter compact enough to carry with your smartphone, IEMs or headphones.
It's a practical addition to a portable audio setup without requiring a separate DAC and charging adapter.

best budget IEM under 3k
Good Quality 👍♥️
Quality is excellent everything is good
the klean iems are clean asf
The cable is heavy and sturdy, it feels premium and is durable. Definitely worth the price.
I got it for my Tanchjim Bunny IEMs because my original cable broke and it works perfectly fine with the IEMs.
Best in the segment
I mainly use it for gaming purpose and it never disappoints
Clean sound
My first IEM and its great, I love it, it's awesome
I’ll be honest — I bought the Kefine Loric Type-C for my S23 Ultra without really knowing what to expect. This is my first IEM, and I’m definitely not an audiophile or someone who understands all the technical stuff.
I just wanted something that would make my music sound better.
The first impression was good. The triangular design fits surprisingly well, it’s lightweight, and the silver finish looks premium. I mostly use it while travelling, at home and sometimes while watching movies.
Then I started playing my usual songs.
That’s when things got interesting.
I use Apple Music Lossless, and with the Loric, I started hearing little things in songs that I’d listened to countless times before. A guitar here, some background instruments there — things I simply never noticed properly with my TWS or neckband.
And once you start noticing these little details, you naturally start going back to your favourite songs just to hear what you might have missed.
The bass is another thing I really like. It has a good punch and depth, but thankfully it’s not the BOOM BOOM type. 😄 It stays in the background when it needs to and doesn’t spoil the vocals or instruments. Even around 40% volume is more than enough for me, and surprisingly, the bass still feels satisfying at lower volumes.
Vocals are clear and natural, instruments are nicely separated, and the treble has enough crispness without becoming sharp or irritating.
I’ve thrown almost everything at it — Arijit Singh, KK, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Himesh Reshammiya, Enrique Iglesias, Sean Paul, Alan Walker, Coldplay, Daddy Yankee, Punjabi songs, 90s tracks and even a little classical.
And that’s where I realised I was enjoying the music itself, not just the sound.
Before the Loric, I was using the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro, Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, Realme Wireless 5 ANC and Boat Nirvana TWS. All of them have their strengths, but the Loric gave me a different kind of listening experience.
I honestly thought I’d miss ANC or spatial audio......I don’t.
The fit gives me enough isolation, and once the music starts, I’m not really thinking about the features anymore.
It’s also comfortable enough for long sessions. No ear pain or fatigue for me. The mic has been surprisingly good too, and for calls, 10–20% volume is usually more than enough.
What I like most about the Loric is that it doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. The bass doesn’t dominate, the treble doesn’t attack, and the vocals don’t get lost.
Put on something soft, and it feels relaxed and laid-back.
Put on a good dance track, and suddenly there’s a little party happening in your head. 😄
I bought my first IEM just to see what the fuss was about.
Now I’m wondering why I waited this long.
Incredible buy for the starters. First time IEM user I am impressed it is not as per everyone's taste it's specifically for the new I am users but those who have we read taste are you listening to different genres of course it has a good treble but as far as the negativity around it is concerned I don't think it's good for everyone but also in suitable tracks the trouble is punchy and would give an impress a touch to the listening experience the sound stage for music listeners is incredible the vocals are clear the subways is not what everyone wants but is what you require to listen pop or jazz or soundtracks. The basic tracks might not feel rumbing but would give an punchy experience. Not for the listeners who want to be engulfed and getting things overshadowed in music but want to feel the music from every angle.
Con- few selected calm and silent tracks might gives some distortions
This IEM has incredible sound clarity. I just love it
This dac is very nicely enhancing music quality and adding connectivity with multiple devices
Quality of earphones and the delivery were both top notch
Peak
Best to buy
