Experience powerful bass, detailed audio and customisable sound with the AUDIOCULAR x KZ Castor Pro Dual Driver IEM. Designed for music enthusiasts, gamers and everyday listeners, these wired in-ear monitors combine dual 10mm dynamic drivers, an advanced electronic crossover and four physical tuning switches to give you greater control over your listening experience.

Developed through the collaboration between AUDIOCULAR and KZ, the Castor Pro features a Harman Target-inspired tuning with improved bass. Enjoy punchy low frequencies, engaging vocals and clear instrument reproduction, with the flexibility to adjust the sound according to your musical preferences.

Available in 3.5mm and USB-C variants, the Castor Pro offers versatile connectivity for smartphones, laptops, tablets and other compatible devices. The USB-C version adds a built-in KT02H20P DAC chipset and support for the My AUDIOCULAR app, including EQ and PEQ sound customisation.

Dual 10mm Dynamic Drivers for Powerful, Detailed Sound

The AUDIOCULAR x KZ Castor Pro features two 10mm dynamic drivers in each earpiece, designed to work together through an advanced electronic crossover system.

This dual-driver configuration is engineered to deliver impactful bass while maintaining clarity across vocals, instruments and high-frequency details. The result is an engaging listening experience suited to a wide range of music genres, from bass-heavy electronic tracks and hip-hop to Bollywood, rock, pop and instrumental music.

The improved-bass tuning gives low frequencies a more prominent presence, adding weight and punch to kick drums and basslines. Meanwhile, the midrange reproduces vocals and instruments, while the upper frequencies contribute clarity and detail.

Whether you're enjoying your favourite playlists, watching videos or playing games, the Castor Pro offers a versatile wired listening experience with an emphasis on engaging sound.

Four Physical Tuning Switches for Personalised Sound

One of the standout features of the KZ Castor Pro is its four-switch acoustic tuning system. Instead of being limited to one factory sound signature, you can adjust the frequency response using the physical switches on the earphones.

The switches allow you to experiment with different sound presentations:

• Switch 1: Adds one level of low-frequency emphasis.

• Switches 1 + 2: Provides a stronger bass boost.

• Switch 3: Increases emphasis in the mid-high frequencies.

• Switches 3 + 4: Provides a stronger mid-high boost.

• All four switches: Creates a fuller, more energetic overall presentation.

These adjustments let you explore different combinations depending on your preferred balance of bass, vocals and treble.

Why is this useful? If you enjoy strong bass for electronic music but prefer a different balance for acoustic tracks or vocals, the physical tuning switches give you a convenient way to experiment without changing earphones.

The precise audible result depends on the selected switch combination and your individual listening preferences.

Type-C Version with KT02H20P DAC and App-Based EQ

Choose the USB-C version if you want a digital connection to compatible smartphones, tablets and computers.

It incorporates the KT02H20P DAC chipset, which converts digital audio into an analogue signal for the earphone drivers. This makes it convenient for devices without a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack, without requiring a separate USB-C-to-3.5mm DAC adapter.

The Type-C variant also supports the My AUDIOCULAR app, providing access to sound customisation features, including:

• EQ: Adjust different frequency regions to suit your listening preferences.

• PEQ: Fine-tune supported frequency bands using parametric equalisation controls.

• Personalised Sound: Experiment with different settings for different music genres and earphone preferences.

The availability of app features depends on the connected device, software compatibility and app version.

Important: The KT02H20P DAC and My AUDIOCULAR app support apply to the USB-C variant. The 3.5mm version connects through a standard analogue headphone output and requires a compatible audio source.

High-Purity Silver-Plated Cable

The Castor Pro comes with a high-purity silver-plated cable designed for reliable everyday use.

Its detachable 0.75mm 2-pin connection allows the cable to be disconnected from the earpieces, making cable replacement or compatible cable upgrades more convenient.

The cable measures approximately 1.2 metres, providing practical reach for listening with smartphones, laptops, digital audio players and other compatible sources.

The supplied cable includes an inline microphone for everyday communication.

HD Inline Microphone for Calls, Gaming and Meetings

The AUDIOCULAR x KZ Castor Pro is designed for more than music playback. Its integrated HD inline microphone allows you to communicate without removing your earphones.

Use it for:

• 📞 Phone calls and voice conversations

• 🎮 In-game voice chat with compatible devices

• 💻 Online meetings and video calls

• 🎙️ Voice communication and supported recording applications

• ⏯️ Inline controls, where supported by the device and cable

Microphone and inline-control functionality may vary depending on the connected device, operating system and selected variant.

Durable Zinc-Alloy Design and Comfortable Fit

The Castor Pro combines a zinc-alloy faceplate with an ergonomically shaped in-ear housing. Its design is intended to provide a secure fit while remaining suitable for everyday listening.

The included silicone ear tips help establish a seal within the ear canal. A proper seal is important not only for comfort but also for bass response and passive isolation from surrounding noise.

For the best fit, try the supplied ear tips and select the size that seals comfortably without creating excessive pressure.

Is the AUDIOCULAR x KZ Castor Pro Good for Gaming?

The Castor Pro can be used for gaming on compatible devices, offering stereo audio through its wired connection and an inline microphone for supported voice communication.

Its bass-forward tuning can add weight to explosions, sound effects and background music, while the dual-driver configuration is designed to reproduce different elements of the audio mix.

However, it is a conventional wired IEM rather than a dedicated gaming headset with virtual surround processing. Gaming performance and microphone functionality depend on the connected device, game and audio settings.

3.5mm vs USB-C: Which Version Should You Choose?

Choose the 3.5mm version if:

• Your phone, laptop, DAP or DAC has a 3.5mm headphone output.

• You want a conventional analogue wired connection.

• You already own a compatible DAC or headphone adapter.

Choose the USB-C version if:

• Your device supports USB-C digital audio.

• You want the integrated KT02H20P DAC.

• You want access to My AUDIOCULAR EQ and PEQ features.

• You prefer connecting directly to a compatible USB-C device without a separate DAC adapter.

Both variants offer the Castor Pro's dual-driver design, physical tuning switches and inline microphone functionality, subject to the selected variant's specifications.
