7mm + 8mm Dual Dynamic Driver Acoustic Architecture
The CCA Falcon Dual Dynamic Driver Gaming IEM features a custom 7mm + 8mm dual dynamic driver configuration designed to combine immersive gaming performance with enjoyable everyday music listening.
Instead of relying on a single dynamic driver to reproduce the entire frequency range, the Falcon uses two drivers arranged in a physical series acoustic structure. The 7mm dynamic driver focuses on upper-frequency detail, while the larger 8mm dynamic driver handles the midrange and low frequencies, helping produce deeper bass, natural vocals, and greater overall body.
Both drivers use LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) composite diaphragms, combining low mass with high rigidity. This helps reduce unwanted distortion while improving transient response, dynamics, and fine-detail reproduction.
CCA states that its upgraded acoustic system provides up to 55% stronger dynamics and 70% higher detail retrieval compared with its previous-generation driver design.
The result is a versatile sound presentation suitable for competitive gaming, music listening, stage monitoring, vocals, and multimedia use.
Gaming-Focused Tuning for Competitive Play
The CCA Falcon is designed as a HiFi gaming IEM with tuning specifically developed to improve the audibility of important in-game sounds.
Its frequency response places particular attention on the 2kHz–8kHz region, where many footsteps, reloads, environmental effects, and directional audio cues are reproduced. Combined with the fast transient response of its LCP dynamic drivers, the Falcon helps make these details easier to identify during fast-paced gameplay.
The dual-driver configuration also provides the impact required for explosions, gunfire, and cinematic effects without sacrificing vocal and positional clarity.
This balance makes the Falcon suitable for FPS and competitive games where sound positioning, separation, and directional awareness can be particularly important.
Spatial Audio Chip 2.0 With 7.1 Surround – Type-C Version
The CCA Falcon Type-C Gaming IEM takes its gaming capabilities further with CCA's integrated Spatial Audio Chip 2.0.
Rather than relying entirely on the connected smartphone, PC, or other source device for audio processing, the built-in DSP performs digital signal processing directly through the Type-C cable assembly.
It supports hardware-level 7.1 multi-channel surround decoding, creating a wider and more immersive spatial presentation for gaming, movies, and multimedia.
The inline controls allow users to switch between four listening modes:
- Spatial Surround Mode – Expands the perceived soundstage for greater immersion.
- Bass Boost Mode – Adds greater low-frequency impact and weight.
- Game Mode – Focuses on positional information and gaming-related audio cues.
- HiFi Music Mode – Provides a more balanced presentation for everyday music listening.
These DSP features are available only with the Type-C version. The 3.5mm version provides conventional analogue audio without DSP processing or selectable listening modes.
Suitable for Music, Musicians & Stage Monitoring
While gaming is a major focus, the Falcon's dual dynamic driver architecture also makes it a versatile in-ear monitor for music listening and monitoring applications.
Its combination of bass extension, vocal clarity, transient response, and detail retrieval can be useful for singers, musicians, DJs, vocalists, church choirs, live performers, and studio monitoring.
The in-ear design also provides passive sound isolation, helping reduce surrounding noise so individual instruments and vocal layers can be heard more clearly.
Whether you are gaming at home, listening to music during your commute, performing on stage, or monitoring a mix, the Falcon is designed to adapt to different listening environments.
Lightweight Vented Resin & Alloy Shell
Despite housing two dynamic drivers, each CCA Falcon earpiece weighs only 7.8g, helping keep the IEM comfortable during extended gaming and music sessions.
The shell combines a precision-cut alloy faceplate with a lightweight transparent resin cavity, providing a balance between durability, appearance, and wearing comfort.
Its ergonomic shape is designed using extensive ear-shape data to sit naturally within the ear while the over-ear cable configuration provides additional stability.
A vented acoustic chamber helps regulate airflow and minimise unwanted pressure buildup inside the ear. Internally, the dedicated acoustic chamber structure is engineered to improve layering, clarity, and bass definition while maintaining a balanced presentation.
Detachable 0.75mm 2-Pin Cable
The CCA Falcon uses a detachable 0.75mm gold-plated 2-pin connector, allowing the cable to be replaced or upgraded when required.
CCA rates the connector system for more than 10,000 insertion cycles, with gold-plated contacts helping maintain stable signal transmission and resist oxidation.
The supplied 1.2m high-purity OFC cable uses a dual-strand construction designed for reliable signal transmission and reduced interference.
Built-In Microphone for Gaming & Calls
The microphone version of the CCA Falcon includes an omnidirectional microphone for gaming communication, voice chat, and phone calls.
Its inline controls support convenient playback, call management, and communication without requiring users to reach for their connected device.
This makes the Falcon particularly useful for gamers who want a wired gaming IEM with mic that can also function as an everyday pair of earphones.
3.5mm & USB Type-C Connectivity
The CCA Falcon is available with 3.5mm and USB Type-C termination options, making it suitable for a broad range of devices.
The 3.5mm version is ideal for conventional headphone outputs, portable DACs, audio players, gaming controllers, and other analogue sources.
The Type-C version adds CCA's Spatial Audio Chip 2.0, DSP processing, 7.1 surround decoding, and selectable sound modes for compatible USB-C devices.
Compatibility can vary depending on the device, connector version, and its audio-output support.
