Combining 6W RMS output, punchy bass, colourful ambient lighting and an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, the ES20 brings together portable sound and practical durability in one stylish design.

Powered by a 43mm full-range driver with neodymium magnets and a 55mm passive bass radiator, this compact Bluetooth speaker delivers dynamic sound with enhanced bass impact. Its lightweight 326g body, built-in rechargeable battery and convenient carrying strap make it easy to take along to picnics, trips, outdoor gatherings or your workspace.

With Bluetooth 5.4, up to 15 hours of playback, stereo pairing, multipoint connectivity and a built-in microphone, the Edifier ES20 is designed to make wireless listening simple and versatile. You can also personalise your experience using five ambient lighting effects, four sound modes and the EDIFIER ConneX mobile app.

Compact Design, Bold Sound

The Edifier ES20 combines a sleek, portable design with a speaker system engineered to deliver engaging everyday audio. Its 6W RMS output is powered by a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier, a 43mm full-range driver and a dedicated passive bass radiator.

The full-range driver reproduces vocals, melodies and instrument details, while the passive radiator helps reinforce low-frequency output for a fuller sound than you might expect from a speaker of this size.

Whether you're listening to Bollywood songs, pop, podcasts, acoustic tracks or background music, the ES20 is designed to provide enjoyable sound without taking up much space.

Looking for a compact speaker for everyday listening? The ES20 is easy to carry, simple to connect and suitable for personal listening at home or outdoors.

43mm Full-Range Driver with 55mm Passive Bass Radiator

Small speakers can struggle to reproduce convincing bass. Edifier addresses this with a combination of a 43mm full-range driver and a 55mm passive bass radiator.

The driver handles the main audio signal, while the passive radiator responds to internal air pressure generated by the driver to reinforce low-frequency output.

This design helps give music more body and impact, making the ES20 suitable for casual listening across different genres.

Key audio specifications include:

• 6W RMS total output power for everyday listening.

• 43mm full-range driver with neodymium magnets.

• 55mm passive bass radiator to enhance bass response.

• 93Hz–19kHz frequency response.

• Signal-to-noise ratio of at least 85dB(A).

For its compact size, the ES20 offers a practical balance of portability, clarity and bass presence.

IP67 Waterproof and Dustproof Protection

Planning a picnic, camping trip or day at the beach? The Edifier ES20 is designed to handle more demanding environments than a conventional indoor Bluetooth speaker.

Its IP67 rating means the speaker is fully protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in fresh water up to 1 metre deep for up to 30 minutes under specified test conditions.

This makes it suitable for many outdoor activities where dust, splashes and accidental exposure to water may be a concern.

Important: IP67 protection does not mean the speaker is intended for continuous underwater use. Avoid charging the speaker while wet, and follow Edifier's care instructions before reconnecting any charging cable.

Up to 15 Hours of Battery Life

Enjoy your favourite music without needing to recharge the speaker throughout the day.

The Edifier ES20 offers up to 15 hours of continuous playback on a full charge under specified test conditions.

This makes it a convenient option for outdoor outings, travel, picnics, desk listening and background music at home.

Actual battery life varies depending on listening volume, ambient lighting, Bluetooth conditions, audio content and other usage factors.

Tip: Turning off the ambient lights and keeping the volume moderate can help you get closer to the stated maximum playback time.

Bluetooth 5.4 for Convenient Wireless Listening

The ES20 uses Bluetooth 5.4 to connect wirelessly to compatible smartphones, tablets, laptops and other Bluetooth audio sources.

Pair your device and stream music, podcasts or other audio without needing a wired connection.

Bluetooth connectivity makes the speaker convenient for moving between rooms, setting up a listening space outdoors or keeping your phone nearby while the speaker plays music.

The ES20 supports the SBC Bluetooth audio codec. Supported audio quality and connection performance depend on the source device, wireless environment and playback content.

Connect Two Devices with Bluetooth Multipoint

Need to switch between your phone and laptop? The Edifier ES20 supports Bluetooth multipoint connectivity, allowing two devices to remain connected simultaneously.

This is useful when you want to play music from a laptop but also keep your smartphone connected for calls or other audio.

Multipoint connectivity helps reduce the need to disconnect and pair your devices repeatedly. Actual switching behaviour can depend on the connected devices and their Bluetooth settings.

Pair Two ES20 Speakers for Stereo Sound

Want a wider listening experience? The Edifier ES20 supports Bluetooth stereo pairing with a second compatible ES20 speaker.

Using two speakers can create a more spacious stereo presentation, with left and right audio channels helping music feel broader than playback from a single compact speaker.

This setup can be useful for listening at home, creating a small entertainment area or enjoying music with friends.

Please note: Stereo pairing requires a second compatible ES20 speaker, sold separately unless explicitly included in your purchase.

Five Ambient Lighting Effects

Music is about more than sound. The Edifier ES20 includes five preset ambient lighting effects that add visual atmosphere to your listening setup.

Use the lighting to complement your music, create a relaxed mood in your room or add colour to an outdoor gathering.

You can switch between supported lighting effects using the speaker controls or the EDIFIER ConneX app.

The ambient lights make the ES20 a suitable choice for listeners who want a portable Bluetooth speaker that looks as distinctive as it sounds.

Four Sound Modes for Different Activities

The ES20 offers four preset sound modes designed for different listening situations:

• Music Mode: For everyday music playback.

• Gaming Mode: For compatible gaming audio.

• Movie Mode: For watching films and video content.

• Outdoor Mode: For listening in outdoor environments.

These modes let you change the speaker's sound presentation according to your activity rather than relying on one fixed setting.

The availability of each mode and its audible effect depend on the speaker's supported settings.

Built-In Microphone for Hands-Free Calls

The Edifier ES20 features a built-in high-sensitivity MEMS microphone with intelligent noise cancellation to support clearer voice calls.

When connected to a compatible smartphone, you can use the speaker for hands-free conversations without having to hold your phone throughout the call.

This is convenient for casual conversations at home, at your desk or while spending time with friends.

Call quality depends on the surrounding noise, distance from the speaker, Bluetooth connection and the connected phone.

Control Your Speaker with the EDIFIER ConneX App

The EDIFIER ConneX mobile app provides additional control over supported ES20 features.

Depending on the app version and device compatibility, you can use it to:

• Switch audio sources.

• Control playback.

• Change sound modes.

• Select ambient lighting effects.

• Access the user manual and other settings.

The app makes it easier to customise your speaker without relying exclusively on the physical buttons.

Lightweight and Easy to Carry

Weighing approximately 326g, the Edifier ES20 is designed for portable listening. Its compact dimensions of 90.4 × 93.7 × 49.7mm make it easy to fit into a bag or carry alongside your everyday essentials.

A convenient strap adds to its portability, making the speaker suitable for trips, picnics, outdoor activities and moving around your home.

Its combination of compact construction, wireless connectivity and IP67 protection makes it a practical option for listeners who want music wherever the day takes them.

Is the Edifier ES20 Good for Outdoor Use?

The ES20 is designed with outdoor portability in mind. Its IP67-rated construction helps protect against dust and specified water exposure, while its rechargeable battery provides up to 15 hours of playback under test conditions.

The carrying strap and lightweight design also make it easier to transport.

For larger outdoor gatherings or situations requiring high-volume sound over a wide area, remember that the ES20 is a compact 6W RMS speaker. Its performance is best considered in the context of personal listening and smaller spaces.

Is the Edifier ES20 Worth Considering?

If you're looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker with waterproof protection, ambient lighting and convenient wireless features, the Edifier ES20 combines several useful capabilities in a compact design.

Its 43mm full-range driver and passive bass radiator provide everyday sound, while Bluetooth 5.4, stereo pairing and multipoint connectivity add flexibility. The IP67 rating makes it suitable for many outdoor situations, and the five lighting effects, four sound modes and EDIFIER ConneX app allow you to tailor the experience.

For music at home, on trips, during picnics or at your desk, the Edifier ES20 offers a blend of portability, sound and visual style.
