A-class class-A amplification
Employing flagship-grade class-A amplification in this mid-tier android DAP, the R5 utilizes Class A discrete balanced amplification circuitry, capable of continuous high power output, with plentiful energy reserves for all music genres. Converting power with ease for the most dynamic compositions, the sound is clear and full.
Discrete output stage
With 4 independent channels of push-pull amplification with 270° conduction angles constructed of discrete componentry, including 8 high powered paired bipolar transistors, the R5 provides excellent current output power and control over variable loads. Enable Class A headamp mode for class-beating audio performance! THD is down at 0.0006% at the amplified output for unparalleled realism.
Dual High-Performance DACs for astonishing music resolution
Dual ES9219C DACs natively support DSD256, PCM768kHz/32bit high-res formats, with SNR of 130dB and THD+N down below -112dB. Presenting a highly accurate output voltage ensures the most accurate signal is given to the class-A amp section for amplification; also supports integrated DAC-amp output (economy mode) for excellent low power consumption and extra-long playtime.
Dual independent crystal oscillators, FPGA clock algorithm
Utilizing dual independent audiophile-grade crystal oscillators at 45.158MHz and 49.152MHz provides high precision timing for all audio events in your music.
Cost-no-object audio componentry naturally lays the path to quality sound
Employing 163 high-precision resistors, 19 Panasonic tantalum POSCAPs, and 4 ELNA electrolytic capacitors maximally suppress power supply ripple, yielding silky black backgrounds.

HiBy RS Gen2 has packed in it a host of adjustments to give you the near to perfect desired quality of sound of music.
It is a little bit heavy but it doesn't matter because it has got so many powerful components inside it like amplifier, twin DACs etc. The power consumption is also very less and at optimum performance adjustment, one can listen to music for long hours. It sounds so good that one can feel as present in the orchestra itself.
One of course needs a good audiophile standard earphones to give a match to it. There you get an opportunity to select from a wide range of music listening gadgets in TAS. I got the DAP delivered so fast that it didn't create desparation. They have excellent delivery arrangements.
To conclude, it is a fantastic music reproducer.

I'm very excited while writing review of Hiby RT gen ii DAP. This is my first DAP experience in my musical journey. I totally and always listening with Mobile + DACs. After listening with Hiby R5 genii DAP i was totally mesmerized. I can hear all instruments at lower volume also. This is totally out of the world. So I'm at dark till now inobile world experience. Pritamji helped me a lot to come out with this mobile experience. He guide me to try this Hiby R5 genii DAP experience. The rest is history. Amazing DAP. Thanks Pritamji for suggesting me this DAP. Battery is also good. After receiving since last 12 days I'm not removed my headphone from this. Balanced 4.4mm is too good rendering. That's why this Hiby R5 genii DAP is boss of DAP. The mids are so clear and totally experience is that we are sitting at live concerts. Really this is so good one. Thanks once again Pritamji for removing from out from the mobile world. Ofcourse the delivery is totally out of the world from TAS, after place the order I received within a 20 hours. Very speedy delivery by TAS.
I'm enjoying every bit of my Hiby R5 Gen 2.. the good and bad part about this DAP is once you turn on the class A mode you can't go back to non-class A mode especially for streaming Apps (Apple CD quality) cause the sound is so amazing especially the layering/separation of instruments and vocals with class A mode on but unfortunately Class A mode eats up quite a bit of battery, hopefully it will improve as it is the case with Android phones.. somehow I felt the music played thru Hiby music app (local/Tidal) had more dynamics than CD quality songs streamed on Apple music.. but the convenience of streaming app (finding songs at your finger tip) with high quality ESS DAC and Class A amp is a stellar combination to have and Hiby has sweetened it more with SRC bypass throughout and not just native music app... another beautiful part is all sorts of jacks are available... if only Hiby had given SD 600 series SOC and Android 10 this DAP would have been unbeatable but I understand they have to cut some costs in order provide this whole package at budgeted price point... still the processor and Android can be smoothly handled if you restrict your app installation to minimal, by doing this you should have good enough resources to stream and toggle between diff apps without hiccups..
I would highly recommend this DAP cause right now this is the only budgeted DAP which comes at lower price but has almost all bells and whistles of a flagship DAP..

Have been using these buds for like an year now, they gave me a great time all that while, only recently the cable started getting green and there was an issue with audio drop on even a slight movement (like every earphone ever), but still a great investment for an year.

Love the way it sounds rich in every range perfect for beginners but if you're not a bass head go for non bass varient.
This is my first ever IEM that I purchased after research of couple of months. And I can say that this was a good decision on my end. Cable is good. Buds look stylish. Comes with a small carry pouch and 6 pairs of ear tips. Sound quality is awesome. Love the instrument separation. Customisable EQ gives them versatility. You can actually experience how other IEM sound just be playing around with the EQ.
