Good product but the only problem is that it cuts off mic even when connected with balanced output and also when connected in stereo output with cable with no mic.
Effectively it inactives the phone's mic
I was surprised that I could use both ports simultaneously, and microphone functionality works with the 3.5mm port. It is strange that these details were not mentioned on the product description page.
The sound from the DAC is really nice, with no added coloration.
The DAC's shape made using my phone a bit uncomfortable initially, but I got used to it quickly.
Great quality, soild sound
I've been using the Kiwi Ears Allegro Mini Portable DAC & AMP for a while now, and overall, I’m really happy with it. It’s a small, well-built device that looks sleek and feels premium. The aluminum body gives it a solid feel, and it’s super easy to carry around.
The sound quality is fantastic—clear, detailed, and with a nice balance across the lows, mids, and highs. It makes my music sound much better, especially compared to just using my phone or laptop directly. I also love that it has both 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs, so I can use different headphones without needing extra adapters.
It works straight out of the box with my phone and laptop, no setup hassles. Just plug it in, and it’s good to go. The only thing I wish was different is the price—it’s a bit on the higher side. If it were slightly cheaper, it would have been a perfect buy.
That said, if you're looking for a compact and high-quality DAC & AMP, this one is definitely worth considering.

The amount you pay for this DAC is absolutely worth it. I'm using it with my PC, and I also have a Fiio KA13. It provides 32-bit 48000Hz audio output, and it's really good. I'm connecting it via a USB-C port and one extension cable (AGARO 3.5mm Aux Male to Female Extension Cable, Gold Plated). There’s no audio loss whatsoever.
The only minor issue is when you use it with a mobile device — the blue light can be a bit annoying. However, that's more of a personal preference. It also makes some noise with certain songs, but that's actually a known issue with the CS46L41 chip. There's no need to worry though; unless you've used a high-end DAC before, this will be more than enough for you.

Excellent sound quality

After searching internet found this dac which has multiple input options and support 165*2 watts passive speakers and 350 watt passive subwoofer for future extension, tested with all input modes, bluetooth input feels a bit of low quality as it only supports sbc and aac codecs only, however if you want to use mobile via wired, alternative option is to use audiocular d08 cs-pro usb-c to 3.5 mm and 3.5 mm to rca input (cable creation brand). Optical input mode supports PCM (loss less stereo output) and Digital compress audio multichannel only) these are specific to Sony X-80J 65 inches

Thanks a lot Pritam Ji for suggesting me to use a balanced cable with my Moondrop Aria IEMs and thanks a lot for ordering Moondrop Aria filters for me. The Audio Store goes out of the way to serve Indian audiophile community.
The way my IEMs sound with a balanced cable and Shanling UA2 Plus DAC & Amp are unprecedented!
I am grateful Pritam Ji. 🙏🏻

The empathetic support that I got (as a budding audiophile) from Pritam Ji at The Audio Store is unparalleled. I am grateful Pritam Ji. 🙏🏻

Just bought it and started using it with my IFI Zen Stack - feels awesome.
This was a natural pick for me, since I wanted to have a completely balanced setup for my HiFiMan Sundara.
Nothing much to add, if you want an optimal balanced setup without spending too much, then look no further.
Thanks AudioStore for being blazing fast with your delivery. I got it withing 48 hours of placing my order! Kudos.

For my HiFiMan Sundara, this is a nice quality 4.4 mm balanced cable. I am buying this for the second time, since the first one got destroyed by my kids.
If you are looking for a good quality 4.4 mm balanced cable, look no further.
Audio

This product is reached my expectation good purchase good audio signal transmission no noise at all.....thank you the audio store👍
Yes

I have used lots of TWS even high end of Samsung and Oppo worth 10K. But IEM sound signature is great! This is my second IEM. I had KZ-ZEX. It has dual driver with electrostatic. Compare with that MoonDrop Chu 2 is better clear and smooth sound signature even with single driver. I am using with Audiocular DAC cost 750. Just go with MoonDrop Chu 2 if you are music lover. Thanks.
Great packaging and quick delivery
