After my first pair, the Oriveti OD200 (which I loved!), I grabbed the Martilo as my second set, and wow, I finally get what people mean by basshead. Guys, these are unreal. If you listen to music that's supposed to really H-I-T, this is the one for you.
Sound Breakdown
The Bass is the star: It literally shakes my eardrums. We're talking deep, physical sub-bass rumble, not the muddy, boomy kind. It feels like having a huge subwoofer in your head. It hits hard but stays clean and super fast, which is critical.
Mids are surprisingly clear: I was worried the bass would swallow up the vocals (Mids), but they stay right up front. My favorite singers sound crisp! You get great separation, letting you pick out instruments even when the bass is going crazy.
Treble is sparkly and quick: I think the planar driver is what makes the high notes (Treble) sound so detailed. It adds enough "air" to the sound and keeps the whole picture from feeling dark.
The design is awesome, they look like cracked lava rock, and they are pretty comfortable even though they look a bit chunky.
Only 1 downside for me was the eartips, it could be more comfortable given the price tag of this IEMs. I'm using stock eartips of my another IEMs (Oriveti OD 200) which is surprisingly comfortable.
Final Takeaway
If you are moving up from entry-level and want to know what truly clean, hard-hitting bass sounds like, get these. It’s an easy, near-endgame fun set for people who love bass-heavy genres like EDM and Hip-Hop. Go listen to them!
Although termed as Basshead, it's clean and crisp. Bass knows when to punch and when to calm. Upgrading from Juzear Defiant which is itself a great allrounder to its price. Thoroughly enjoying the Martilo. Finally great service by TAS. Looking forward for more.
Basically it is a bass-heavy set, but don't worry, not the bad kind. The bass goes really deep and you can actually feel that rumble, especially in rap and EDM tracks. But the good thing is it stays in its place only, doesn't spill everywhere and spoil the rest. Even in heavy bass songs it never becomes muddy or boomy. This part itself many "fun" IEMs fail to do.
Vocals are also nice and clear, they come forward properly and don't get buried under the bass. Honestly I was not expecting this much.
Treble side also smooth only. Cymbals and all sound clean, not at all sharp or paining the ears. Nothing feels cut or dull.
Overall it is slightly on the warmer side but still sounds quite balanced for a bass set. One small thing, sometimes there is a slight metallic feel in the sound. And if you are a hardcore basshead who wants over the top bass, then this may feel a bit too decent for you.
For the price it is solid value. Definitely worth it.
Good and deep bass and mid bass.. Mid bass a bit recessed but still full to enjoy gor bassheads. I find the mids a bit recessed and not that fuller compared to other IEMs I have. For example Dunu Davinci and Campfire Solaris 2020 have a wider soundstage. However this doesn’t take away any fun from the Martilo which are unique and an excellent addition to my collection. You need a good single DAC to drive these out of your phone
Fucking amazing set of IEMs. Never dropped a review before but man, these are just amazing. These are not just bass, it’s the correct amount of bass for a fun listening experience with today’s music. Music is supposed to be fun, not flat and boring and technical. These are masterfully tuned. Fast shipping from TAS. Great packaging.
I purchased it solely to experience how bass head sound signature feel.
Most other bass-rich iems either are low quality sound producing or too costly.
This one you get nice bass heavy sound without compromising other aspects of sound.
Must try if you want quality base.

The DAC works like a charm. Works with various devices. Recommended even if it does not come with PEQ. Try Equalizers of your choice to tune the sound as per your taste. I have paired it Duonic (improved bass version)

Nice dac
I've purchased this kz edx pro 2 with mic and type c I've received in just 2 days and the product is absolute perfect and build quality and audio experience is so good I've loved it and the look also is so good, the quality of mic is good though compare to other mics audio is perfect and smooth for me.
I opened it fastly then at the end i saw take a video while opening sorry audio store. But tbh the wire quality is so good and delivery also came before expected date. If someone reading this comment the 1 reason to buy from audio store is they keep affrodable prices when compared to headphonezone and concept kart and offcourse amazon and the quality is also on top notch

I am choosing a well good brand product
The product has a sturdy build and the ring light adds a clean, aesthetic touch that enhances its overall look. Using it with my KZ Castor Harmon Edition feels like listening to my favorite song for the very first time, with sound quality that is clear and immersive. It works smoothly with both Samsung devices and Windows, and the customization options on Windows make it highly versatile. The quick delivery in just one day was the icing on the cake, making this a well-rounded purchase that combines design, performance, and convenience.
Pairing this Harman Target Version with a Samsung A17 playing Apple Music and FLAC files and Fiio X1 DAP as a secondary source with FLAC files. When tuned to give preference to Mids as i prefer to hear the voices more than anything else, this comes out as a sweet sounding combination and tracks like Racy Chapmans Fast Car and Massive Attacks Teardrop shine beautifully. The Castor Pros are best listened at about 40% volume and and infact they do actually sound amazing at a high volume for bass heavy tracks such as EDM but for Trance and Rock the cymbals and snare drums sound better at 40%. This pair of iems and the combo sounds like money well spent so far and next i want to try analytical IEMs like the 7Hz. Thanks to the Audio Store for the rushed delivery.
