Looking for Volume? Look Elsewhere.

I recently purchased the Tanchjim Tanya DSP with certain expectations, but the experience has been incredibly disappointing. The core issue lies with its power handling, which is surprisingly poor for a product in its category.

The most significant and unforgivable flaw is the audio clipping that occurs at higher volumes. Once the volume level reaches approximately 80%, the sound begins to distort and clip, introducing a harsh crackling that ruins any listening experience. This makes complex musical passages sound compressed and muddy, and even simple podcasts become difficult to enjoy.

For a product that integrates a DSP, this level of performance is unacceptable. A DSP should enhance and optimize audio quality, not become the source of such a fundamental problem. It seems the built-in amplification is simply not capable of driving the earphones effectively at moderate-to-high volumes. Due to this critical flaw, I cannot recommend the Tanchjim Tanya DSP. Listeners who prefer anything above a quiet volume will inevitably face this issue.
